da-usual

I was thinking about picking up an alarm clock to keep me from sleeping in too much, then I must've forgot, but my friend asked if I found an alarm clock, I said "no" and then he gives me this....

Better to wake up to the "Call of Prayer" than "beep BBEEEPP bbeeeePP beeep". I think it'll be great.

It's supposed to be about 40C tomorrow. I think for me to survive the summer heat here I'll just do what I did when I worked in the Caustic area in SRC last year. Sweat it out, try to drink enough Powerade, complain about things at random, and frown upon a good work ethic....

....Ok, so only one part of that should apply here... but you know...

I think I may take a few photos in the near future here, perhaps I shall post em'

I don't know that I'm cut out to blog.. I just don't always care to convey 8 billion little stories directly into Central cyberspace. Not that there's 8 billion to tell, but the beach did have sweet waves on Saturday, and the water at the beach still has salt in it.

I'm going to..... go.
enjoy my alarm clock. I could record the alarm sound, and enlighten you all, but I don't think technology/my lack of initiative will allow me too.

and....cYA!...

swam the pacific, home in time for supper.....

.. ehh.. bout a week since I last wrote something down in here.

ummm... yeah, yesterday was pretty cool, I swam in the pacific ocean, the water reminded me of salt n vinegar chips. I hadn't ever really seen the ocean before that, so it was awesome just hitting some sweet waves and enjoying some salt.

In addition to that last night I drove home from a friend's house, it was weird as hell driving on the left side of the road, in the right side of the car. Weird. Somethings take some getting used to, and traffic bein' all backwards like it is here is one of those things.

Milo addiction update:
20/11/06: Things are going A-ok, been trying to only have it once every couple of days. I feel sluggish after having a bowl of vanilla ice cream with a few tablespoons of Milo mixed in. Things are better than they were a couple weeks ago.

well anyway....

Perhaps, I should just blog what I'm eating on a daily basis. Random thought, but really I think for those of you who know me well... Like if you know what I'm eating and how much, you can probably tell how I'm feeling.

...(...Ok, so maybe like 3 people, and 2 cats MIGHT be able to gather a rough and possibility inaccurate depiction of how things are going with me from the food I say I'm eating. ( Basically, it's a bad idea, 'cause if I start posting a food blog, I might get some worried phone calls from my family if they see words like "Tofu" or "Couscous" in amongst what I'm eating.))

anyway, think I should go... I have.. things.. to do...

if y'all feel interested in sending me e-mails, go for it.. Like even if you have random thoughts you'd like an opinion on or just to be made fun of. Do it up.

slattterrrsss..
peteeyyyy.

wow..

It's been over a week since my last entry, and I tell you.. a lot has changed.

I've opened up a bank account AND received my library card in the mail.

Life moves pretty fast sometimes, you know....

Hopefully..now I say hopefully, things will relax a bit in the weeks to come.

In other news, if you're the kind of person who likes to start things solely to get addicted to them, check out the Aussie chocolate malt mix Milo. It's a delicious energy food drink made by Nestle that you add to milk or ice cream or what have you, needless to say it's easy to get addicted to. I'm pretty sure hardcore aussie Milo junkies when put into rehabilitation centers are weened off the substance with cocaine or heroin or imported Nutana bakery donuts(writers note: FedEx me some whole wheat ones Mom). No one warned me about it on my way here, they babbled on too much about spider and snake defense, and kangaroos and what not. Bleh.

So, yeah, I'm sure you can find it in the international section of Superstore or something.

So this time I'm actually off to go ride a bike or read a book under a tree. Cause it IS warm out here. I don't know y'all at home know this, but it's warm from November to March in other parts of the world. I didn't know, and now that I do, I might just take advantage of that.

slatr dudez.

so.. who.. are ..you?

Gahhh....I wrote like a long post about my flight and all that.. Then I deleted or lost it or something.. GRRRRR. Sorry to anyone particularly interested.

but.

Things are well and flights to Australia are long and energy consuming.

Windsor, NSW has more broken glass on the streets then anywhere I've been.

And LA airport is a freakin' zoo, and work out to get through.

i'm out for now, peace
