down to Perth...
I've probably tried 15 times in the past month to write blog, and each time I failed. Until now....
-In Perth, the second windiest city in the world and apparently the only westernized city where pedestrians do NOT have leeway over vehicles.
Anomaly's aside, I spend time reading, walking, toying, fiddling, playing and jumping.
...there's a job I've lined up. The job is at a school two blocks away doing "relief work". The tasks include: dusting, cleaning, vacuuming, etc. Thus far, the job seems quite appealing, my bone structure and shier strength was designed to handle this level of strenuous work. The hours are good, Monday to Friday 3pm-6pm. Basically, full time work(So if I don't respond emails as fast, you know why.)
-Staying at my cousin Danica's, it's a good time. Full house. Lots going on.
Mind you, there is a small problem with ants, and mice in the house here, but they seem polite, so it doesn't bother me too much. Last night I finished having some toast, a mouse came up to me and asked,
"Hey, are you going to finish that?"
"Why not?" I said and then gave him what was left on my plate. It was the least I could do.
-I've grown comfortable using "I'm Canadian" as a conversation starter on a regular basis and in my own way..
"Hi, I'm Canadian. Where's the library?"
"Nah, like I'm Canadian. I had no idea it was against the law to not wear a helmet while riding my bike .. Oh, you have something for me... Oh, a 75 dollar ticket... Thanks Officer"
"Uhh yeah, I am from Canada. But no, I don't know him."
and the like, if you've ever traveled you know what I mean.
my collar's beeping so it must be way past my curfew.
